Golden Times

A girl in soft sunlight
She's one love of mine
A boy beside the window
He's the other
With a resonant melody
As our anthem
We sit in this room
Pink and blue flowers
Multiplying upon the wall paper
An antique lamp protected by a coat of dust
Some charming wine bottles
An artificial rooster
I forgot it's name
Little papers taped to the door
Some of them from me
Some of them from him
Peacock feathers
They remind me of that day trip to the arboretum
Several potted plants
All reaching for the ceiling
That's white and has ancient glow-in-the-dark stars sticking to it
I assume that they don't glow any longer
A large box of paints
A white bunk bed
Some tins and pens
That old blue CD player and
A girl in soft sunlight
A boy near a white window
They're two loves of mine

Such a lovely style.

Green Ties

Here's a roll of film from our day-late St. Patrick's Day celebration.  We baked cookies, ate chips, took pictures, played with Catharine's cats, and made a lovely dinner(most of which is owed to the seemingly inherent skill Cathy has with cooking. Mabs has taught her well.)

Jars of Coke.

Pesto pasta, green for St. Patrick!

Parmesan bread. Delicious and warm.

Leprechaun gold coin cookies.

Both of them are adorable!

Hahaha

We Are Red Vines and Candy Corn

We apologize for the delay in posts. It's difficult to confess that we sometimes lack the energy to update as much as we wish we could.  Hours open for blogging are few, and what little time we do have that isn't spent worrying about this and that, we dedicate to drawing and attempting to relax.  However, it is our aim to focus on the positive elements in our lives. Weekends are pure and divine.  Those two precious days of the week are devoted to art, baking, taking pictures, blissful evenings in the park, and comical movies (Orca: The Killer Whale, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space).
The desire to abandon our responsibilities and escape reality aches within us.  We want to drive far from here, we want our own apartment and a cat, as fatuous as that sounds.  We want to attend art school, take more ballet classes, illustrate story books, study plants and animals, have a fresh garden, take cooking classes, run our own bakery.  We want to live in a Rhode Island flat, chasing after that life we hunger so deeply for.  We want to live and breathe art.

Morning delight!

Delicious Trader Joe's Popsicle.

The only picture that came out from our day in the park.

Goals List(Hopefully this will motivate us more!)

1. Pursue a minimum wage job position
2. Graduate to Ballet 1 classes
3. Start marketing our products and work
4. Earn some money for art supplies

Day of Saints

February is always beautiful.  As cliche and almost disgustingly sappy Valentine's Day sounds in theory, it is wonderful. The heart shaped lollipops and the pink everything!  Sadly, we didn't follow through with most of our plans but that's just how things go.  We've had lovely times still, just sitting around and taking pictures of whatever captures our attention.  We escape school for the next 9 days(ski week) and we're devoting it to relaxation and beautiful things.

She's an angel, I swear.

Made these on a Tuesday afternoon.

We are born and die as animals.

Valentine inspired cupcakes.

Delicious Friday afternoon treat.
